Where are we located?
We are located right in the heart of the city centre on the corner of Eyre Square.
We are directly across the road from the bus and train station
Is breakfast included in the price?
Yes, a light breakfast of tea/coffee, cereals, orange juice, and toast is included in the price.
Do we have a hostel curfew?
No, the hostel is open 24 hours a day.
What is check out time?
Check out is at 10.30 am.
Is bed linen provided?
Yes, all beds have clean sheets, comfortable duvets and pillows.
What types of rooms are available in the hostel?
We have a wide mix of rooms available including doubles, triples, 4 bed dorms, 8 bed dorms, 12 bed dorms, 14 bed dorms including both standard and en-suite room types.
What is our cancellation policy?
For individual bookings, we have a 24 hour cancellation policy in the hostel. You must cancel the booking by 3 pm on the day prior to arrival or the first nights accommodation will be charged.
For group bookings, any cancellations must be made in writing / fax / e-mail one week prior to the groups arrival.
What documents do I need to stay in the hostel?
We ask all guests to provide valid photo identification, preferably passport / drivers license.
This is standard practice in most hostels.
Do we have safekeeping facilities?
Yes, we have safekeeping facilities for any valuables you may have behind the reception area. This facility is free of charge.
Do we offer luggage storage facilities?
Yes, we have a luggage storage facility available so if you are checking out and want to spend the day in Galway, you can leave all your luggage safely with us free of charge!
Do I need to make a reservation in advance?
We would strongly advise you to make a booking in advance to guarantee your accommodation in Galway, especially during summer months.
A credit card is required to hold your bed and guarantee your reservation but is not charged until you arrive.
Do we have internet connection in the hostel?
Yes, we have an internet café in the dining area and also if you are traveling with a laptop, we have wi-fi internet connection available which is free of charge.
